Mazda Autokhana 2010 with Motorsport Channel, Bermaz and Goodyear

We had the opportunity to go up to Genting with the Goodyear Drift team to organize a small autokhana session with the Mazda Owner’s Club, a yearly event that was organized this time around with the support from Motorsport Channel, Bermaz as well as Goodyear Malaysia. An event for amateur drivers featuring the handling prowess of the RX-8 car, it was also an opportunity for Goodyear to showcase the effectiveness of its Eagle F1 Asymmetric tire which was fitted on the 2009 facelift RX-8 demo car.

Cyberjaya Drift Challenge 2010

It has been a while since we last saw an update, but we’re back!! Held at the Cyberjaya Community Club and Lake Gardens, the Cyberjaya Drift Challenge 2010 was a fitting ending to the Motorsports day held by the landowners, Cyberview Sdn Bhd. Held from 8pm into the wee hours of the morning, the track was well-suited for short wheelbase cars, and in particular, the AE86 chassis, with its tight turns as well as short transition area, most drifters could only max out at 2th gear before initiating into the first rear clipping point. Of course, the judges weren’t being too lenient; our Prince Of Drift and Loyai themselves were dishing out the scores that night!

Events; GRA Round 4 – Putrajaya

The final round of GRA 2009 is over and we were there for a slice of the action; congratulations to all the winners and have a great time at the upcoming annual dinner! Held from 9am to 6pm at the parking lot beside the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya, this eventful finish to the Grass Racing Autosports calendar was befitting to such a competition that has seen drivers for all walks of life.
