  • Drifting; Best Drift Ever?

Posted on October 28th, 2009 kev No comments

The D1 judges think that this is the best drift ever; Kawabata drifting a 180SX into a corner, ass first!

So, what’s your take on the drift? Fluke? New Drift King? He seems so damn cool about it though, as if nothing had happened! Props to that!

Okay you all, time to dust some cobwebs from the site and guess what this is in the comments!

Guess what induction system is this truck using, and what is it used for?

I read it on Jalopnik, and this is so cool, I just needed to share this with you guys. A jet-powered truck. How cool can that be? Beats your musclecar anytime, just don’t try to race me in the mountains. That would be disastrous.

There’s a video of it too!

  • Randoms; A Day At The Workshop

Posted on May 19th, 2009 kev No comments

To most of you, going to the workshop means heading to some high-traffic area in the middle of a township, or to Sunway, where a 300whp car lurks in every other corner. To us though, heading to the workshop can be quite fun when there is a whole camaraderie of four-wheeled statements rolling around. For instance, the MG TD in the image above is a true classic car, whitewalls and all. Launched in 1953, it was considered to be one of the nicest drop top cars to drive – and be seen it during its day. Its nice to see such a classic on the roads, even if its on a flatbed headed somewhere…. A stark contrast to the MG TD is this Saga. We know that it’s a shocker, from the eloquent roadster to this abomination, but hey, one man’s meat is another man’s death penalty.

Speaking of death penalties, it’s time for the owner of this new GT-R to experience something more than the sound of high speed air at full throttle once Ah Heng is done with its stock mufflers. With the rear jacked up like that, the view is quite similar to seeing an upskirt in real life, for car engineers, that is. Such a compact 7-speed box! Intricately-designed diffusers! Coolers that tuck into the diffusers for increased efficiency, and a whole lot of cables and pipings routed in the neatest way. It’s not everyday that you get to see a GT-R on the streets, let alone peek underneath its (side)skirts!! Just another day at the workshop…

  • Randoms; Kelisa with nice stance

Posted on April 28th, 2009 kev No comments

We spotted this nicely-appointed Kelisa with an awesome stance for a K-car last Saturday at Sunway Pyramid. Its definitely on some form of coil-overs although we could not take a closer look; the driver, a young girl would have freaked out!!! On another note, last Sunday drift images will have to wait till tomorrow; we are having slight problems with image uploads. Either that or Izzi has screwed our upload line again. Damn you Malaysian broadband!!!
