A couple of cars in the Sepang International Circuit parking lot
Ahh, HPC, the event where you are trained in the ways of attacking the Sepang International Circuit, or any other track in the world. I could not be there due to work commitments, although a couple of friends of mine had the chance to capture the happenings over at the track. Divided into three groups, the HPC is more of like an extended driver’s course with Group 1 for the newbies, Group 2 for the more advanced and faster drivers and Group 3 for the wheelman who has graduated with no-holds barred passing and unlimited speed. Definitely an experience not to be missed if you’re a petrolhead. As for myself, I have yet to experience it as my car is too slow to be regarded as a menace on the track. Enjoy the photos after the jump!

This is one of the faster AE86 coupes hatchback on the track.

Something’s not right with this Celica GT-Four 3SGTE. Guess what is it?

Is it a Caterham Super 7 that I see?? Whatever it is, its rocking some old-school Watanabe rims!

Look who came out to play!

This GTR has been well-used by the owner. A pat on the back for having a fast car, and driving it hard! See the roadtax sticker? We hope its a daily driver too!

Another fast car came out too! My first attempt at making the uber-rare CLK-DTM stand out.

A participant sticking on the required stickers. Do I recognise the guy in yellow in the background?

More cars come to play. Something tells me that these Audis are not here for an invasion.

A closer look at one of the RS4 wagons………..and check out the hardware beneath those rims!! Carbon ceramic brakes FTW! Its teardrop-shaped calipers are kinda cool too.
Below are some pit action; I really wish I was there

On-track pictures!!!

There were more happenings that day, but since we weren’t there, I guess the HPC coverage ends here this time. Check out HPC Events to find out more about the driving experience!
Update; changed the coupe to a hatch >.< damn the lack of sleep! XD
