Events; SIC Open Track Day CNY Special – Part 3: Wrapping Up
Posted on February 10th, 2009 6 comments
Doriyaaaaaaa! goes the KE70, and a befitting end to this CNY trackday special; the last of the images are available for viewing here; check back soon for other trackday specials and motoring events!

This may soon be a wallpaper, if there are any requests!

Its running stablemate is seen here, looking deceptively stock! XD

There has to be a GTi at any trackday; they’re meant for this!

Nothing like a little Levin to level the playing field!

The famous Meg’s track car. What can we say? Immaculate detailing!

BNR34 on the way!

Needs harder shocks on the track, but on the road, I’ll take this one just fine =D

Sporting Promote bumpers and a snazzy paintjob, this Putra looks the part of a nicely modded street ride.

Okay, where’s the GTR35?

Understeering action from this FD2R here!

Now here’s an NA track monster!

It was definitely loud, if not fast!

I see a 5Zigen Border Max on this Corona!

1st Gen Honda Civic FTW! 2nd-Gen Honda Civic FTW! (thanks to greenbandit)

A combination of old and new; I particularly love this shot!

Battered, but not down yet!

Ariff Johanis in his race-ready drift Panda.

Another drifter in the midst!

A C21 being outrun by a V9 scooby; I used to have one of these, miss the lift-off oversteer and the torque…….

Sssssssuuuupraaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…Guess the motor?

Another shot of the lovely Nissan Skyline GT-T BNR34 VSpec II. I just had to.

Old Alfa, New Alfa. Its definitely a 147 in the background, but not being a sucker for old cars, can anyone identify the petite beaut?

The GT3 RS (996) being chased by a bone-stock FD2, a Gen.2 MME and a 350Z. What a sight! Of course, it left them all in its dust after this shot!

This shows the capacity of the SIC on that weekend; NO VACANCY!

No, its not a Kelisa-wannabe; its a REAL Curore! With L7 iirc. Too bad it wallowed in the corners like a drunken hippo. Come on dude! Make this K-car owner proud! XD

This M3 CSL is definitely fast; and looks the part too, save for the ORANGE rims!

Mitsu’s Evo 7 wagon really made us crack up everytime it passes by. Its too family-friendly to be taken seriously! Then again, apart from the legendary Volvo 850 T5 wagon, we have never seen such a long thing go ballistic!

More generation-gap pictures here. A high-performance family outing. Awwwww.

Whoops, a spinout.

Its not everyday when you see a Lotus Elise playing with some ‘traffic’……….

……..especially when ‘traffic’ consists of these cars!

Boxxers don’t sound like boxxers nowadays.

Especially when there’s these two around!

Portrait mode doesn’t look so good, right?

Whoops, engine trouble there!

This particular Elise had a classic case of MR oversteer.

Bad in Black – A Scooby takes on the inner line at Turn 3.

1st Gen Civic, Track-Spec!

Limited-edition madness! Two S204’s attacking the second corner, using the same line, its Déjà Vu.

This *could* be Tan Tai Wei in disguise!

Cheaka along the grandstands!

Cheaka, revisited. Hey, sounds like a movie title =P

Berlambaknyer Satria! (That’s a whole lot of Knights!)

Bodyroll is the enemeh of all Kenaris.

But then again, I’m proud that a birdie has flown around the track, perhaps one day this year, I shall do that too……..so long for now, check out Subaru Club Malaysia’s track day commentary coming soon!
