Super GT 2009: Friday’s Relaxing Session

An update from the track for those who were at work and for those who were lazy enough to collect their pre-booked tickets to the Super GT Weather was hot with slight drizzle on the way to SIC, although at the track itself, its the usual Sepang weather which is extremely hot, sunny and windy at the same time. For those who are planning to visit the track tomorrow, bring your sunscreen and a hat! Here’s what happened from 2pm on Friday. Above is last year’s winning car, the Autech/Motul Nissan 350Z. We were in Ipoh recently for a wedding reception, and while this may be no surprise to our Ipoh-mali readers, but this Smart ForTwo simply screams wackiness thanks to its paintjob and Simpsons theme. Parked just outside a closed shop, we applaud the owner for his (or her) painstaking attention to detail, down to the mini-me version of itself! This side features Homer and Marge sharing a strand of spaghetti, reminding us of one Disney pooch movie. More pics after the break.
