    Happy Labors Day!

    While you are all enjoying the long weekend off, here are the outtakes from last weekend’s drift event. Outtakes are there mainly because the image might not be as great as we might think, so they are dumped into a folder to be kept for posterity. We know that some of the cars were not featured, reason being it was getting to dangerous out there when up to 10 cars were on the track at any single time. Sure, camping out on the corner apex isn’t safe in the first place, but when up to 10 cars come heading your way, its hard to react when you’re shooting and getting ready to run at the same time.

    On the other hand, we’ll be heading to the first night GRA event tomorrow :-) see ya there!

    We can’t say how much we love drift, the sideways action can rarely be seen in other forms of motorsport today, and like what Keiichi Tsuchiya has said, its the most exciting way around the corner. Learning to control the fine line between gripping and losing it all is tough though, and that’s where Sync Optima’s Drift Academy (or a cooler-sounding SODA) comes in. Manned by the married couple of Malaysian drift, Ariff and Jane, participants learn how to control their cars while applying driving techniques not taught in your average driving school.
